PILGRIMAGE

A month after Ramadhan, Muslims who have the wherewithal are preparing to go on pilgrimage to Mecca. Pilgrimage or hadj is one of the five pillars of Islam. So, this is a form of obeissance to the rule. Muslims will pay homage to the specific house of worship once erected by Abraham and Ysmael, peace be upon them, under the guidance of Allah subhana wata Allah. The Kaaba is right below the gate of heaven that is open. That is the reason why every Muslim who goes under the area are pure and prepared for any eventuality. In fact, any Muslim who die right at the spot is just too glad for the occassion, given that the next life is assured of paradise. Likewise, most Muslims dream of dying in the spot.

However, for those who come home after the sojourn are purified like a newborn child. Another promise for them is purified prosperity in this life. For those who do not get the chance to go to Mecca and visit the Kaaba, Allah has something better for them in store. Doing righteous deeds to fellow believers, feeding the indigent believers, and overlooking the mistakes of others who have not yet believed is counted.

HADJ

Hadj is pigrimage. After a month-long fast, every Muslim believer is encourage to go on a journey called Hadj. This is usually a travel to the Holy place, Mecca in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Muslims travel to the place to pay homage to Allah subhana wata Allah, right in the place constructed by the prophet Abraham and his son Ysmael, peace be upon them. The structure was constructed under the guidance of Allah.

The place is right under one of the gates of heaven that is constantly open. For this reason, only those who have purified can visit the place, as Allah is swift into account for those who disobey.

Hadj can be done only one time in the whole earthly life. But, for those who do not have the means to go on hadj, domestic work of charity may be considered in its place.
